Scope/Content: Manuscript. Loose pages throughout volume.
Scope/Content: Manuscript poetical miscellany dating from approximately 1735-1812 and containing primarily devotional poetry and Methodist hymns. It appears that most all poems included are previously published works. The items are all written in the same hand, and are partially enumerated in an index located in the middle of the volume. Pages have been numbered in several different schemes, and the book has been written t{circ}ete-b{circ}eche (written from both ends of the volume inwards toward the middle, with the text in one half the volume rotated 180{deg} relative to the other half).
Condition: Bound in original full calf with paper overlays; backstrip defective.
