Scope/Content: Manuscript catalog of the library of Sir Edward Bysshe. Works are arranged into sections by language (e.g. "Libri Graeci") and then by size of the volume. It is unclear when this catalog was compiled, but the latest publication date for books in the library appears to be 1650. The Byssch Library was dispersed at auction in 1679 and a catalog was published in that year; however, that catalog is organized by topic and then size.
