Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations in a collection of sermons by William Lupton, bound together by their annotator, likely Ralph Trotter, the registrar of Durham, whose name appears twice in the volume. Annotations consist of a manuscript table of contents on the front free endpaper verso, as well as long notes at the ends of sermons and marginal notes throughout the texts.
Condition: Bound in black panelled calf with gilt rule and floral tooling, gilt spine, marbled endpapers.
