Scope/Content: Manuscript. "32r R" handwritten on spine. Several pages excised from end of volume at an early date.
Scope/Content: Manuscript volume containing recipes for cookery and medical remedies. The provenance of this item is unclear and its original compiler is unknown. The sources of many recipes are given, and names include Lady Essex Roberts, Lady Lucy Booth, and Dr Ratt. The volume begins with an index with tabs for a 24-letter alphabet.
Condition: Bound in full vellum; covers warped and front hinge cracked.
