Scope/Content: Manuscripts. Both volumes defective, with detached covers. Published as : A system of moral philosophy. London : printed and sold by J. Waugh, 1749.
Scope/Content: Manuscript volumes of Rev. Henry Grove's System of moral philosophy, published posthumously in 1749. The two volumes appear to be in different hands, though they both contain the same kinds of footnotes and notes about other works to be read in the future. It is possible that v. 1 was transcribed by Rev. Farnham Haskoll, a minister of Taunton, at whose 1733 ordination Grove spoke.
