Scope/Content: Manuscript poetical miscellany composed sometime after 1727, containing primarily John Gay's Fables (nos. VIII-L) in addition to Thomas Parnell's "The Hermit" and "Resignation" by James Hervey. The volume appears to have been written at least two different hands by collaborators working at the same time to copy Gay's Fables.
Condition: Bound in original limp vellum; defective backstrip.
