Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations likely by former owner James C. Dale in a copy of Goedartius' De insectis. Dale, a British entomologist, has annotated the volume with the Latin names of many of the insects treated in the text, as well as their English common names. He has also annotated the plates and created an index to them at the end of the volume.
Condition: Bound in 19th century calf.
