Scope/Content: Manuscript. All pages ruled. MS.1977.008 constitutes the first volume of Renaud's account books
Scope/Content: Manuscript account book of Daniel Renaud, rector of Whitchurch, Herefordshire. This volume appears to have been written during the period 1752-1777, and includes farm accounts, church tithes, personal accounts, legal formularies and memoranda relating to Renaud and his family (birth dates, his children's schooling, etc.). The single entry for 1777 was written after Renaud's death by another party, and concerns farm leases.
Condition: Bound in quarter vellum with exposed boards.
