Scope/Content: Manuscript. Some loose pages at front of text.
Scope/Content: Diary of John Darracott of Bideford, Devon, consisting of religious resolutions, covenants, reflections and prayers. The diary, spanning from 1707 to 1730, also includes some genealogical information on the Darracott family at the end of the volume, as well as a note documenting his Darracott's death, written by one of his sons. Some entries are partially written in shorthand.
Condition: Bound in original full vellum wallet binding with functional bronze clasp and speckled edges.
