Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations by an unknown reader in a 1658 edition of A compleat history of the life and raigne of King Charles. Annotations consist of notes and emendations in various early hands throughout text. One leaf inserted at p. 185: "Mr. Burnet in his Memoirs of ye Dukes of Hamilton, book ye 6th page 412 severely censures Sr. Will. Sanderson, in these very words..." in a later hand.
Condition: Bound in old paneled calf; crest of Charles II stamped in gold on covers.
