Scope/Content: Annotations in a 1788 copy of Sir Herbert Croft's The Abbey of Kilkhampton by an unknown contemporary reader. Annotations consist of notations giving the full names of some of the real people described in satirical epitaphs throughout the text.
Condition: Bound in contemporary quarter calf with marbled paper boards, title in gilt on red and black spine labels.
