Description: Scope/Content: Manuscript. The date of composition revealed to be "1710" in several mathematical problems in the text. In red, black and green inks; Some wormholing to leaves at beginning and end of volume with no loss of text. Bound in brown calf with paneled spine; blind stamping on covers and spine; sprinkled edges.
Scope/Content: Manuscript book of arithmetical exercises written in a calligraphic hand with many flourishes and embellishments. Calculations and word problems are all based on goods and exchanges in 18th century England.
