Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations by Reverend Samuel White, the curate of the Chapel of St. John Hampstead of Hampstead, England, in a 1700 copy of Jeremy Taylor's Rules and Exercises of Holy Living. Annotations consist of textual and non-textual marginalia throughout the body of the text, as well as manuscript additions to missing portions of the title page. A partial index is written in on blank pages at the end of the volume.
Condition: Bound in quarter calf with blue marbled boards.
