Edward Fazzio was an artist who painted portraits of Los Angeles officials, including mayors, from about 1955 to 1965. The Beverly Hills City Directory for 1955 lists the Art Gallery Edward Fazzio Fazzio, located at 285 S La Cienega Blvd. Portrait of Paul R. Williams, in oil, by Edward Fazzio. Paul Williams was an African American architect who designed almost 2,000 homes in the Los Angeles area. He worked for wealthy celebrity clients, but also designed affordable homes, public housing, and civic, commercial, and institutional buildings. His works exhibit elegant composition and perfect proportion.
