Description
Maurine Moss Browning was a founding member of the League of Allied Arts. She was a pianist and she accompanied her husband, singer, and actor, Ivan Browning when they toured the United States.

Ivan Browning was an African American entertainer known for his singing and acting. He was the lead tenor in the Four Harmony Kings singing group. During the 1920s they traveled throughout Europe. He and his wife, Maurine Moss Browning, lived in England for several years. The Brownings later did a tour in the United States with Maurine accompanying him on the piano.
