Description
Two train cars sit outside of a fenced paddock. Inside the paddock approximately 20 reindeer stand grazing, drinking out of a trough, or pestering Al G. Barnes, who stands center-right in a suit, tie, and hat, holding a bucket of feed. Reported in "Jungletown to Move Quarters: Animal Denizens of Circus Start Trek Into New Home on El Monte Boulevard with Reindeer Leading Parade; Approximately 240 Houses to be Erected," Los Angeles Times, 6 Nov. 1927: E5.
