Description: California Governor Friend W. Richardson posing with two unknown men during the National Editors Association's annual meeting in Orange County. The two men on either side sear ribbons stating “Welcome / N.E.A. / Reception / Orange County." Governor Richardson, who was also the president of the California Press Association at the time, appeared to be honored with a medal on his left lapel.
