Group portrait of Willis K. Duffy, his wife Minnie and his children (left to right): Willis K., Jerome C. and Constance.
Willis K. Duffy, Sr., was the first African American to purchase a home in Santa Ana. Willis K. Duffy, Jr., became a dentist, was a Tuskegee Airman, and was very active in civic organizations including the NAACP, the Mid-City Chamber of Commerce and the LAPD Historical Society. He attended UCLA and Howard University.
