Della Williams was a leader in black women's organizations and the wife of architect Paul Revere Williams. She co-founded the Wilfandel Club, the first black women's social club in Los Angeles to have its own building. Williams also sat on the board of the Assistance League of the Stovall Home, and was a charter member of Los Angeles Links. Paul Williams was an African American architect who designed almost 2,000 homes in the Los Angeles area. He worked for wealthy celebrity clients, but also designed affordable homes, public housing, and civic, commercial, and institutional buildings. His works exhibit elegant composition and perfect proportion. Marilyn Hudson was the wife of Elbert T. Hudson, and a daughter of architect Paul R. Williams and civic leader Della Mae Williams. She was the first black woman to sit on the board of the Automobile Club of Southern California. She was a member of the board of many organizations and participated in many women's' groups. Norma Williams was an active socialite and member of many civic organizations in the Los Angeles area. She was the daughter of Paul R. Williams, and Della Williams.
