Description
Digitization for the AIIS Center for Art & Archaeology Negatives & Slides Collection was sponsored by the Modern Endangered Archives Program with funding from Arcadia. Fragment of a medallion with geometric design This object was housed in the personal collection of Dr. Jagdish Gupta at the time of photography in 1976. Estimated to be executed in-between 199 - 100 BCE, this seal was recovered from Shahabad, at Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh, India. The object material is terracotta. The dimension of the seal is 8.5 (H) x 6.5 (W) cm.
