Description
Deca Lodwick was a high school teacher. She graduated from the State University of Iowa around 1902 and taught at Long Beach Polytechnic High School from at least 1912 to 1932, the year of her death.
Group portrait of the senior class of Hollywood High School (?) with 12 students and one teacher, probably Deca Lodwick. There is one African American student (far left, third row).
Hollywood High School opened in temporary quarters at the Masonic Temple on Highland Avenue, north of Hollywood Boulevard in 1903.
