Description: Reported in "Past Rises to Accuse Suspect in Canyon Murder: Slaying Denied as Net Closes," Los Angeles Times, 4 Aug. 1928: A2. The article suggests that neighbors uncovered a large carton full of baby clothes left at a storage house. Neighbors also "reported that Beitzel admitted wrapping the woman's clothes up in a bundle and sending it to a fictitious address in Phoenix, Ariz."
