Description
Painting with Native American men riding horses in a landscape. This painting is no. 15 1/2 on a list of art works offered by Kanst Art Galleries, located at 826 South Hill Street in Los Angeles. On the List it is mistakenly attributed to Bert G. Phillips. The the annotation on the negative attributes the painting to W. Herbert Dunton. The painting is now at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, attributed to Dunton, circa 1912-1920.
