Description
Cornelius Cole standing (second from left) in Washington, D. C., on the day that he was honored in the House of Representatives to commemorate his 100th birthday. Cole served as a California Representative 1863-1865 and Senator 1867-1873. With him are former speaker Joseph G. Cannon (right), a woman who might be Cole's daughter Cornelia Mcloughlin, and another man who is probably a representative or senator (left).
