Description
Arthur John "Bud" Teachout pitching a baseball in the field at Washington Park when he played on the Occidental College Tigers team, 1925-1927. The Tiger team emblem can be seen on his uniform. He was the team's ace, leading the Tigers to their first three SCIAC championships. He went on to become a pitcher in Major League Baseball, playing for the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals.
