Seal of Kumaragupta III with Garuda
This object was housed at the Archaeological Museum, Nalanda, Bihar, India at the time of photography in 1967. It Is an impression of a circular seal and was executedin-between 450 - 499 CE. The seal has an insignia depicting Garuda (vahana of Vishnu), under this an inscription is placed which is in Sanskrit language and written in Nagari script. The object material is terracotta.
