Description: Roy Fowler's father, John Fowler, wrote a column called "Spreading Joy," which was published in the California Eagle newspaper. John Fowler's sister, Cora, married Felix Beckford and lived in Oakland. Their daughter, Ruth Beckford, is a dancer, teacher and author.
