Description: 1927 was the first year the Rose Parade had a theme, "Songs in Flowers," with each float typifying a song. The float sponsored by the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce represents a hill with cottages suspended above the world, which was revolving. It was the winner of the Grand Sweepstakes.
