Thomas Mayers Decatur Ward (1823-about 1894) was the 10th Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. After he was ordained to the ministry, in Philadelphia, he was sent out as a Missionary on the Pacific Coast, where he become a Bishop (1868).
