Dorothy Porter Wesley with the President of Susquehanna University and a young woman on the day she received her doctorate degree. Constance Porter Uzelac (1939-2012) acquired two Master's Degrees and spent her career as a historical researcher. She was the Executive Director of The Dorothy Porter Wesley Research Center, Inc., Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dorothy Louise Porter Wesley was a librarian, bibliographer and curator, who built the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center at Howard University into a world-class research collection.
