Lieutenant Colonel W. H. Jordan speaking with heavyweight boxing champion Willie Ritchie, probably when they were stationed at Camp Lewis. Ritchie was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1918 and he coached boxing. William Henry Jordan had been the star halfback and captain of the Multnomah Athletic Club and coached football at the camp.
