Description
Approximately thirty unidentified white men standing outside the Monrovia Hotel (500-509 6th St.) with one African American male teenager by standing in the center of the group. A horse and buggy are on the left.
The Monrovia Hotel, also known as Monrovia Residence, the Mills Hotel, and the Wisteria, was built in 1886 on Myrtle Ave. between Lemon Ave. and Orange Ave.
Written on back of photo: Monrovia Hotels #4-Monrovia Hotel. Young Negro lad standing in center of group in front of the hotel.
