Description
Frank Austin and Heard McClellan wear parachute packs as they stand facing an airplane in an airfield. In 1926, the Aero Corporation of California was formed. Jack Frye was its President. The corporation operated out of an airfield along Western Avenue, between 94th and 104th Streets. A similar image taken on the same occasion appears with the photo spread titled "Camera Reveals Taylor and Grange on Friendly Terms to Last," Los Angeles Times, 28 Jul. 1926: A12.
