Portrait photograph of Millicent Sunday at the time that she was sued for alienation of affection by Olive Day. Ms. Sunday is in a garden or yard, standing in front of a garden statue of a woman with an urn on her head. She was the ex-wife of Billy Sunday, Jr., the son of evangelist Billy Sunday. Reported, with a different photograph taken the same day, in "DAMAGES ASKED OF MRS. SUNDAY: Alienation of George E. Day's Affections Charged Woman Seeks $50,000 in Suit Filed Yesterday Defendant Was Evangelist's Daughter-in-Law," Los Angeles Times, 22 Jan. 1928: B6.
