Description
Two story commercial building with a Spanish style roof tile accent and relief medallions, on the corner of Griffith Avenue and East 16th Street. The sign reading "Bob's Meat Market" is topped by a "Coca-Cola" logo. The house of Margaret and John M. Scott, at 1011 E. 16th St. is visible beyond the building.
Written on back of photo: Mrs. John M. Scott Bus [business] building, apartments above & frame residence / Griffith Ave. & E. 16th St. 2nd frame house just beyond the Scott's residence had been partially destroyed by fire when this photo was taken in the early sixties, 1960s?.
