Handwritten on negative: Dr. Douglas Text from newspaper caption: During the Confession of "Sir Robert's" Art Hoax. "Dr. Sir Robert Walter Douglas," is pictured at the extreme right of the table, reflecting on what to say to City Prosecutor Friedlander (extreme left) after the latter had trapped him into partial admissions of the monumental hoax perpetrated in art circles here. The other man seated is the shorthand reporter who took down the confession. Standing is Cedric Hart, one of Douglas' victims who assisted the prosecutor.
