Description
Henry B. Du Pont and engineer John W. Beretta stand beside an airpolane at Vail Airport (owned and operated by Western Air Express). They traveled from Detroit to Los Angeles in a Buhl airplane in a little less than a month, experiencing no trouble save for a flat tire and some inclement weather. The trip commenced at the Western Air Express Field in Montebello.
