Description: Margaret "Maggie" Scott founded Scott's Hall (a social hall for meetings and dancing) with her husband John. She was a pioneer member of First AME Church, and took active roles in the development of the church, co-founding of the Sojourner Truth Industrial Club in 1904, and was a guiding force in the NAACP fundraising drives of the 1920s.
