Description
Judge Charles L. Bogue standing in front of men in uniform holding American flags at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Behind him is a child, kneeling and wearing a hat. This image was most likely taken at the Armistice Day celebration on November 11, 1925. Judge Bogue was the head of the Los Angeles Interpost council of the American Legion that year. Reported in "ARMISTICE DAY PLANS ELABORATE: Committee Hopes to Fill 80,000 Seats at Coliseum on November 11," Los Angeles Times, 26 Oct. 1925: A10.
