Description
Distant aerial view of campus and Westwood Hills looking southeast from an unidentified aircraft. Photographed during the first academic year on the Westwood campus, only six structures were present: The Education Building (Moore Hall), Royce Hall, the Library (College Library, subsequently Powell Library), the Chemistry Building (Haines Hall), the Physics-Biology Building (Kinsey Hall, and subsequently the Humanities Building), and the Bridge. Construction has begun on Kerckhoff Hall and temporary buildings are seen in the foreground.
