Thelner B. Hoover (UCLA 1930), gesturing in the center, presents his photographic mural to a small group in the newly opened Student Union Building (named William C. Ackerman Union in 1967). The aerial photograph, which hung in the union's Westwood Room before being moved to the University Religious Conference Building, depicts UCLA's original four buildings and dates to April 11, 1929.
