Description
Card is designed to be folded, with images on front and back outside and text inside. Front of card shows image of young, beautiful woman with large red flowers in her long blonde hair and an ornate medallion behind her head. Additional text on front of card: "Fabrik à Budapest Hongrie. Bruchsteiner & Fils, Budapest." Back of card contains image of a bottle of the medication described, with text in English and German. Label on bottle depicts one man rubbing the back of another with a cloth while holding a bottle of medication in his hand. English text on back of card: "Brázay's saltspirits. Indispensable domestic remedy. Factory Budapest Hungary." German text on back of card: "Brázay's Fransbranntwein. Unentbehrliches Hausmittel. Fabrik Budapest, Ungarn." Text (in French) on interior of folded card describes the following conditions as treatable by external application of Alcool au sel de Brázay: illnesses of the throat, ears, and eyes; hair loss; headache; colds and influenza; toothache; rheumatism and gout; fatigue and lack of energy.
