Description
Poster held by Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library. History & Special Collections, Collection no. 306, item GW149. Poster depicts two young men standing in front of a fountain-like structure. They are gazing intently at each other, while the man on the left is in the process of pulling at the unbuckled pants of the other young man, whose underwear is exposed. The background is classic, beautiful and romanesque, but is slightly out of focus. The camera is clearly accentuating the actions of the young men, and is suggestive of the sexual activity that is about to take place. The poster text suggests that feelings of lust are natural and beautiful, and that the use of protection should be considered to be a natural part of sex.
