Description
GOING HIS OWN WAY--As antiwar protestors parade outside the Armed Forces recruiting office in Long Beach, an 18-year-old Poly High student enlists in Navy. Some protestors pounded on window and shouted, "Don't sign," but Marc Veldman, who had pushed his way through the crowd, signed anyway. He said he wanted Navy's training and wanted to fulfill his military obligation as soon as possible.
