Description
Getting a jump--Bob Weiland, who lost both legs to a mine in Vietnam in 1969, got an early--if unauthorized --start Wednesday on the Los Angeles Marathon. Weiland, who uses his hands to propel himself, plans to finish with the rest of the participating runners on Sunday.
