Description: DOWNTOWN HOTEL TAKE SHAPE The 1,500-room Bonaventure Hotel, which will be the Southland's largest when it opens in January on 5th and Figueroa Sts., has celebrated topping out of 35-story steel framework. Designed by John Portman, it will be operated by Western International Hotels. Featured will be six-story atrium lobby with one-acre lake at base.
