POLICE TAKE CHARGE-- Emmett Jones, kneeling, captain of West Los Angeles detectives and Det. John M. Laymen inspect the body of Carole Landis after it was found lifeless yesterday. In the foreground are the actress' fur coat, recently worn by her, and a hair drier. Officers can find no motive for the film star's suicide.
