Description
TRIBAL JOYS--About 3,000 persons turned out for powwow at Pierce College stadium sponsored by West Valley YMCA. Parents join program for children 6 through 8, with 10 to 12 families forming a tribe. Children study Indian crafts and history, with the annual powwow being the high point. Girl at lower right displays finished belt, above, while girl at lower left prepares to paint on sand.
