Description
RESEEDING FIRE AREA--Los Angeles County fire crews cast ryegrass seed on an area of the Santa Monica Mountains that was left blackened by brush fires Nov. 14 and 15. The seeds, which germinate in four or five days, are being scattered over about 1,500 acres of Canyon Burn and Carlisle Burn south of Westlake.
