Description: NEW SUPERVISOR--Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, recently appointed to the Los Angeles county Board of Supervisors, is sworn in by Gov. Brown in a Los Angeles ceremony. Holding Bible (behind Brown) is the Rev. William H. Graves. Joining the ceremony were Mrs. Burke's children, Christine, 11, and Autumn, 5, and husband, William Burke. She succeeds James A. Hayes.
